DMEM/F-12 medium was modified by mixing DMEM and Ham's F-12 medium at a ratio of 1:1. The improved DMEM/F-12 medium, with richer nutrients and more trace elements, is widely used in the culture of mammalian cells, as well as for the culture of mammalian cells and the culture of clonal density under low serum content. DMEM/F-12 has also been used as a base medium for the development of serum-free media.

 

This product contains many kinds of amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other ingredients needed for cell culture, without protein or growth factors, and needs to be used with 5-10% serum or no serum additives according to the type of cell.

 

This product is sterilized by 0.1 μm filter, pH 7.0-7.4, containing 17.5 mM D-glucose, 0.5 mM sodium pyruvate, containing phenolic red indicator, l-glutamine free, without HEPES buffer system.

 

Storage and transportation

 

Normal temperature transportation; Stored at 2-8℃, valid for 12 months.

 

 

Matters needing attention

 

1. The product is filtered and sterilized, and sterile operation should be paid attention to when using to avoid contamination;

 

2. In order to maintain the best use effect, do not freeze and thaw treatment.
